We're Not Really Strangers (WNRS), is a worldwide community and media organization that brings people together through content, card games, and products. WNRS collaborates with both advertising agencies and brand partners (incl. Netflix, HBOMax, and Valentino) to create multi-channel campaigns that bring impact to global audiences.

As the very first in-house copywriter to join the WNRS team alongside the founder, Koreen Odiney, Julia has played an instrumental role in developing the copywriting department and evolving the brand voice and strategy that has gained them global recognition and a cult-like following.

From writing and developing We’re Not Really Strangers physical products to creating content for their 5.4 million followers on Instagram and Tik Tok respectively, to owning and editing the copy for web, campaigns, emails, and ads, Julia has helped shape the WNRS identity, contributing largely to their growth across all channels.

Julia’s work has been seen and shared by millions, but most importantly, it’s been very cool to ask meaningful questions and have her words inspire connections around the world.

Julia is currently available for freelance copywriting & editing, creative strategy, brand consulting, and creative content writing. When she’s not on her laptop, you can find her designing experiential events inspired by what’s happening in the sky.
